A Russell Springs woman was transported to the hospital following a single-vehicle wreck near Dairy Queen in Russell Springs Friday evening.
Russell Springs Police say 60-year-old Connie Camp was operating a 2018 Nissan Pathfinder westbound on Highway 80 just before 6:30 on Friday when she attempted to turn into Dairy Queen, but turned too wide and went into the ditch.
Camp was transported to Russell County Hospital for treatment of injuries. Police say three children were in the car at the time of the wreck. One child in the vehicle was checked out at Russell County Hospital, where they were treated and released.
No other injuries were reported from the wreck.
