Tourism office gearing up for major fishing tournament this summer

The Russell County Tourism Office is gearing up for a major fishing tournament on Lake Cumberland this summer.

The National High School World Series and National Championship Fishing Tournament will be coming to Lake Cumberland in June.

Tourism Director Danielle Wilson said the tournament is expected to bring thousands of visitors to the area.
