Michigan man indicted in 2022 for Eli watercraft thefts arrested

A Michigan man who was indicted in 2022 in connection to multiple watercraft thefts in the Eli community has been arrested on an indictment warrant.

44-year-old Scott Swartz of Adrian, Michigan, was arrested on indictment warrants stemming from November 2022 when he was indicted on two counts of theft by unlawful taking $10,000 or more.

Swartz was indicted in connection with the theft of jet skis and boats in the Eli community in the summer of 2022.

He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center a little after 10:00 last night.
