Lakers defeat East Jessamine, Lady Lakers fall at John Hardin

The Laker Basketball team defeated East Jessamine on Friday by a score of 77-63.

Maddox Shearer led the Lakers with 25 points, and Max Davis scored 21 in the win. Noah McMillin added 12 points for the Lakers.

The Lady Lakers fell on the road at John Hardin by a score of 70-42.

Aniyah Coffey had a team-high 17 points. McKenna Ccamaque and Carigann Carpenter each scored 7 points in the game.

Russell County is scheduled to take on Green County in a doubleheader tomorrow at Green County. However, those plans could change due to the weather.
