Jamestown Fire Dept called out early this morning

The Jamestown Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched just after 1:30 this morning for the report of a house fire on Holt Road off of John Street.

Arriving members found a one story house with heavy fire through the roof. The fire was brought under control in about an hour. The structure suffered heavy fire damage and is considered a total loss

The Jamestown Fire Department was assisted by South Kentucky RECC and Russell County Dispatch. 11 members were on scene for about three hours. No injuries were reported.
