Fiscal court approves funds for dead animal removal program

The Russell County Fiscal Court approved $5,000 in funding for the Russell County Soil Conservation District’s Dead Animal Removal program at its recent meeting.

Russell County Judge Executive Randy Marcum provided more details.

According to Darrell Selby with the Conservation District, the program regularly handles more than 500 removals each year.
