Russell County falls to Monroe County in district volleyball tournament

The Lady Laker Volleyball team saw its season come to an end last night, as the Lady Lakers fell to Monroe County in the 16th District Tournament.

The Lady Lakers fell 3 sets to 1 to the Lady Falcons, who will take on Clinton County tonight in the district championship.

The Lady Lakers fell 25-10 in the first set, but bounced back to win the second set 25-19. The Lady Lakers then fell 25-15 in consecutive sets to fall 3-1.

The Lady Lakers finish their season with a final record of 24-12.
