Woman arrested after fleeing from police near Bernard Ridge

A Russell Springs woman was arrested after reportedly fleeing from police near Bernard Ridge last night.

According to reports, Russell Springs Police officers attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by 47-year-old Mistie Collins. Collins reportedly fled from the traffic stop before coming to a stop near Half Acre Road.

Collins was arrested and charged with fleeing or evading police first degree, wanton endangerment first degree, terroristic threatening third degree, criminal mischief first degree, reckless driving and disorderly conduct second degree.

She was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 10:40 last night.
