The Laker Soccer team finished third in the Glasgow Scotties’ Classic over the weekend.
On Saturday, the Lakers faced off against LaRue County and Franklin-Simpson.
The Lakers defeated LaRue County by a score of 2-0. Sebastian Betts-Jimenez finished with a goal and an assist, and Xavi Medrano added another goal. Xavion Russell had 10 saves in the shutout win.
The Lakers fell to Franklin-Simpson by a score of 4-2. Medrano scored both goals for the Lakers in that game, and Evan Hutchison and Kelvin Cordova each recorded an assist.
The Lakers now sit at 5-1-1 on the season.
