The Russell County 4-H Shooting Sports team had a strong showing at the Adair-Metcalfe County Competition.
In the 9-11 year old Individual division:
Adrian Williams – 1st place – .22 target rifle
Sebastian Mann – 2nd place – BB Rifle
Greyson Riddle – 2nd place – Bowhunter Archery and Compound Target Archery
Case McGowan – 2nd place – Blackpowder Percussion Rifle ; 3rd place – Blackpowder Flintlock
Kegin Stephens – 1st place – Blackpowder Flintlock ; 3rd place – Blackpowder Percussion
Vance Foley – 2nd place – Blackpowder Flintlock
Abbie Wethington – 1st place – Bare Recurve Archery
In the 12-14 year old individual division:
Brayden Popplewell – 1st place – .22 target rifle ; 2nd place – .22 sport rifle
Benton Kimbler – 3rd place – .22 target rifle
Titus Popplewell – 2nd place – BB rifle
Aiden Mondie – 3rd place – BB rifle
Andrea Russell – 1st place – Blackpowder Pistol ; 2nd place- Blackpowder Flintlock
Dalton Foley – 2nd place – Blackpowder pistol ; 3rd place – Blackpowder Flintlock and Blackpowder Percussion Rifle
Will Hatter – 1st place – Blackpowder Flintlock
