Former executive director of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District, Darryl McGaha, has been selected as the new president of the Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corporation’s (SKED) Board of Directors.
McGaha has been associated with the organization for several years, serving on the board of directors since 2008.
McGaha retired as executive director of the Lake Cumberland Area Development District in 2021, after working more than 20 years for the organization.
During his time with the development district, McGaha was known as a workforce development leader.
Southeast Kentucky Economic Development helps businesses in the area by providing business lending, marketing training, expansion and recruitment.
