RCHS Lady Laker Softball falls to Adair; RCMS defeats Wayne

Junior Rylen McGowan connected on two more home runs last night, but the Lady Lakers fell to the visiting Adair County Lady Indians by a score of 12-4.

McGowan finished the night with 3 hits and drove in all 4 Lady Laker runs. Addy Abrell finished with a pair of hits for Russell County.

The Lady Lakers have a big game coming up tomorrow, as they go on the road for a district matchup with Monroe County, That one is scheduled to get underway at 5:30.

The middle school Lady Lakers defeated Wayne County on the road last night by a score of 13-8.

Kerigan Aaron led Russell County with 3 hits and Kinsley Wilson finished with 2 hits. Aaron drove in a team-high 4 runs and Wilson drove in 2 runs.

The middle school Lady Lakers are on the road again tonight, traveling to Adair County. That game gets underway at 5 p.m.
