A Nancy man was arrested on drug and weapon charges over the weekend.
71-year-old James Gossett was arrested by Kentucky State Police and charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Gossett was also charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance – 2nd offense and other traffic charges.
Gossett was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 1:30 Saturday morning.
