Monticello man arrested after being found walking down highway naked

A Monticello man was arrested after he was found walking alongside a highway in Wayne County naked.

James K. King was arrested and charged with indecent exposure second degree, public intoxication of a controlled substance, and disorderly conduct second degree.

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said they were notified of a man walking alongside Highway 3286 naked. Police say King was intoxicated and kicked the door of the police cruiser multiple times as he was being arrested. He also had six outstanding Wayne County warrants.

King was lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
