Last week on local news, we reported that the Campbellsville Social Security Office could be facing closure as part of federal government cuts.
New reports now indicate that the office is not expected to fully close.
The owner was notified his lease had been terminated back on February 21. Things changed over the weekend, as the owner was notified that it would be partially closed.
Reports are 1,500 square feet and about 15 parking spaces will be removed from the lease. It’s not yet known how this will impact services at the office.
