Three people are dead, including a teenager, from a house fire in Somerset that occurred early Tuesday morning.
According to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office, 78-year-old Norma Dean Putteet, 55-year-old Jerry Todd Putteet, and 17-year-old BriLee Kay Putteet died as a result of the fire. Another man, identified as 53-year-old Brian Putteet, was able to escape the home and was transported to Louisville for burn injuries.
BriLee Putteet was a student at Southwestern High School in Pulaski County.
Fire crews were called out just before 1:30 local time Tuesday morning to a home in the Parkers Mill Road area. They say someone drove by and saw the home on fire, and called 911.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
