Columbia woman arrested on identity theft charge

A Columbia woman was arrested in Russell County yesterday on an identity theft charge.

37-year-old Brittany A. Butrum was arrested and charged with theft of identity of another without consent, along with a bench warrant.

Butrum was arrested by Deputy Tyler Pearson and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 5:40 yesterday evening.
