School board members sworn-in to new terms

Three members of the Russell County Board of Education were sworn-in to their new terms yesterday.

School Board members Brenda Higginbotham, Joy Wilson, and Gerald Murray were sworn-in before a special-called meeting of the board yesterday morning.

Russell County Family Court Judge Jennifer Edwards was on-hand to perform the swearing-in ceremony.

Higginbotham and Murray are beginning their fourth terms in office. Wilson is beginning her third term.
