Russell Springs man arrested for allegedly assaulting police officer

A Russell Springs man was arrested last night for allegedly assaulting a police officer.

48-year-old Rodney Holmes was arrested last night on charges of fleeing or evading police – 2nd degree, resisting arrest, and assaulting a police officer.

Holmes was arrested by officer Kendall Catron with the Russell Springs Police Department and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 8:30 last night.
