Adair County man arrested on rape, sodomy charges

An Adair County man was arrested on charges including rape and sodomy Thursday night.

21-year-old Nathan Paul Rybicki was arrested and charged with rape third degree, sodomy third degree, and promoting or procuring the use of a minor by electronic means.

Kentucky State Police say an investigation began earlier in the day on Thursday when troopers received a report that Rybicki was sending sexually explicit messages through social media platforms to a 15-year-old juvenile. Troopers also discovered that Rybicki had engaged in inappropriate sexual contact with the juvenile.

Rybicki was arrested by Trooper Ford with Kentucky State Police Post 15 and lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail at around 7:15 Thursday night.
