The Laker Football team will go on the road for a playoff matchup at Corbin High School tonight.
The first-round playoff matchup between the Lakers and Redhounds is set to get underway at 6 p.m. CT. We’ll have live coverage beginning at 5:15 this evening with the Stephens Pipe and Steel Countdown to Kickoff pregame show.
The Lakers finished the regular season with a 5-5 record and a 2-2 mark in district play, but earned the 4 seed in the district due to a three-team tiebreaker.
Corbin enters as the regular season champion of District 8 with a record of 9-1.
This is the first playoff appearance for the Lakers since 2021.
