Downed power lines in Russell Springs left more than a thousand local residents without power yesterday.
Power lines went down near Mammy Frog”s Restaurant and the Valero gas station yesterday afternoon sometime around 2 p.m., leaving many without power into the evening.
The power outages caused several local businesses in Russell Springs to close early.
Linemen went to work restoring power, and by 9 last night, the majority of those affected had their power restored.
