Russell County students received a new form to start the school year that must be signed and turned back in for students to be able to ride on a school bus.
Russell County Schools Transportation Director Eric Wolford spoke about the new form and encouraged parents to make sure it is signed and turned back in soon.
The new form is a result of a law passed by the Kentucky Legislature aimed at targeting disciplinary issues on school buses. Students must return the form to school within 7 days of the first day of school to be able to ride on a school bus.
