Local gas prices on par with neighboring counties

Local gas prices are on par with neighboring counties, according to data from the AAA gas price tracker.

The average price of gas in Russell County comes in at $3.21, the same as Clinton County.

Prices are higher in Pulaski and Wayne County, coming in at $3.32 and $3.33.

Meanwhile, prices are slightly lower in Casey County at $3.17 and $3.15 in Adair County.

The lowest prices in the area are in Cumberland County at $3.11.

The average price in Kentucky is $3.22/gallon.
