Jamestown man arrested on multiple charges

A Jamestown man was arrested on multiple charges last night by Jamestown Police.

Reports are 24-year-old Chance Burton was arrested on charges of fleeing or evading police second degree, shoplifting, drinking an alcoholic beverage in a public place, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.

Burton was arrested by Officer Harlan of the Jamestown Police Department. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 8 p.m.
