School board to meet this evening

The Russell County Board of Education will hold its regular monthly meeting this evening, with the board set to discuss salary schedules and the district’s tentative budget for fiscal year 2025.

The board will also formally recognize Jackie Grider for being named the south region school resource officer of the year and several other items.

The board will meet in Room 114 of the Russell County ANC at 5 p.m.
