Russell Springs Pool and splash pad on track to open this weekend

As summer draws near, Russell Springs officials say the city’s pool and splash pad are on schedule to open this coming Memorial Day weekend.

WJRS News spoke with Mayor Eddie Thomas about the opening of the pool and said city workers have been putting in a lot of time to get things ready.

The splash pad is a new addition to the park this year. Thomas spoke to WJRS News more about the latest park attraction.
