Yesterday on local news, we reported that this year’s Kevin’s Kids concert brought in more than $95,000 to support Russell County children through the local family resource and youth services centers.
WJRS News caught up with Kevin Williams. He said he’s very happy with this year’s turnout with the funds raised and the concert itself, and said some late-arriving donations could push the final total close to $100,000.
Saturday’s concert was the 10th year since Kevin’s Kids got its start.
