A Russell Springs man was arrested last night on several charges following a traffic stop.
According to Russell Springs Police, 43-year-old Adam VanFleet was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine, prescription controlled substance not in the proper container (second or greater offense), possession of marijuana, failure to maintain insurance (second or greater offense), no registration plates, fleeing police in a vehicle, fleeing police on foot, and other traffic charges.
VanFleet was arrested and lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just after 8 last night.
