The state’s online portal to request an absentee ballot for the upcoming May primary election is now open.
The portal can be accessed by visiting govote.ky.gov but those eligible to vote absentee can do so by contacting the Russell County Clerk’s Office.
Those eligible to vote absentee include those serving in the military, students who reside outside the county, those who will be outside of the county on election day, and those who can’t make it to the polls due to age, disability, or illness.
The last day to request an absentee ballot is May 7.
For more information, contact the Russell County Clerk’s office.
