A man was arrested in Columbia yesterday on drug possession and indecent exposure charges in the parking lot of the Adair County Judicial Center.
According to reports, the incident occurred yesterday morning and resulted in the arrest of 63-year-old Merle Hourigan of Campbellsville.
Columbia Police said officers inside the judicial center were notified that a man was in the parking lot exposing himself from within a vehicle.
After officers made contact with Hourigan, they determined he was under the influence and a subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of possible narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Hourigan was charged with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia, indecent exposure, and possession of cocaine.
