The Laker Baseball team picked up a district win last night, going on the road to defeat the Clinton County Bulldogs.
The Lakers picked up a 9-1 victory over the Bulldogs, improving to 13-2 on the season and 4-0 in district play.
Ayden McGowan had a big game at the plate, picking up three hits on the night and driving in six runs.
Trace Stringer also finished with 3 hits and an RBI in the game, and Adam Walters and Mayes Gosser each finished with a pair of hits and an RBI.
Stringer picked up the win on the mound, giving up just 3 hits and 1 run over 7 innings, striking out 6.
The Lakers are back on the road in district play tonight, going on the road to take on Metcalfe County. That game gets underway at 5:30 this evening.
