The Laker Baseball team picked up another win in Myrtle Beach yesterday, defeating Wildwood from New Jersey by a score of 8-1.

That was the third win in four games for the Lakers in the Cal Ripken Experience.

Jack Shearer powered the Laker offense with a three-run home run in the 4th inning, his first home run of the season.

Adam Walters also had a big day, leading the Lakers with 3 hits and an RBI.

Carter Stapp drove in a pair of runs for the Lakers as well, and Mayes Gosser and Alden Brumley each finished with a pair of hits.

It was a big day for senior Lincoln Helm on the mound, who pitched all seven innings, giving up just one run on two hits while striking out five batters.

The Lakers are now 7-2 on the season.
