The 10th Kevin’s Kids Concert was a major success once again this year, with more than $95,000 raised to provide support for Russell County children.
Near the conclusion of Saturday night’s concert, which was held in front of a capacity crowd at Russell Springs First Baptist Church, Kevin Williams announced that $95,689.35 was donated toward the charity.
These funds will all go toward the operation of the youth service and family resource centers and provide for economically disadvantaged children in the community. The primary goal of these centers is to remove non-academic barriers to learning as a means to enhance student academic success.
