Jacobson named to state children’s advocacy board

The Director of the Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center in Jamestown has been named to the state children’s advocacy board.

Kristin Jacobson, a native of Adair County, serves as the Director of the Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center and was recently named to the Children’s Advocacy Centers of Kentucky board of directors.

Jacobson has served as Assistant Director and Director of the Lake Cumberland Children’s Advocacy Center, starting there as an intern when she was a student at Campbellsville University.

The Center serves children who are alleged victims of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, or witness to violent crimes.
