The Russell County Lady Laker Softball team picked up a shutout victory on the road at Metcalfe County yesterday by a score of 19-0.
Addison Hart pitched a 3 inning no-hitter for Russell County, striking out 6 batters.
At the plate, Addy Abrell led the Lady Lakers by driving in four runs, including an inside-the-park home run in the first inning.
Rylen McGowan, Camdin Cooper, and Jaylee Roy each finished with 2 hits in the game.
Cooper drove in 3 runs for the Lady Lakers and McGowan led the team with 3 runs scored.
The Lady Lakers are back in action tomorrow, hosting district rival Cumberland County. First pitch is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
