With the current Highway 127 traffic project in Russell Springs, there have been some concerns about how traffic flow will be impacted on such a heavily-traveled highway.
While traffic flow will be impacted while work is ongoing, Amber Hale, spokesperson for the District 8 transportation office in Somerset, said the cabinet is doing all it can to lessen the effects during peak traffic times, and asked the public to be aware of work going on particularly during the night.
The project is targeting completion at the end of October.
