The Russell County Chamber of Commerce met yesterday for its monthly meeting, with Russell County Judge Executive Randy Marcum, Jamestown Mayor Regena Hinton, and Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas speaking to the chamber about the proposed sports complex on French Valley Road.

As we reported earlier this month on local news, the local government entities are seeking federal and state funds to bring the project to fruition.
The proposed complex includes soccer fields, baseball and softball fields, walking trails, a gymnasium, and tennis and pickleball courts.
