Branscum says new LCADD Regional Training Center will benefit Lake Cumberland Area

Continuing our look at House Bill 1 and the effects it will have on the local area, WJRS News spoke to State Rep. Josh Branscum about another aspect of the bill.

The funding measure includes a total of $8.5 million over the next two fiscal years to go to the Department of Local Government budget unit to be distributed to the Lake Cumberland Area Development District for a regional training center.

Branscum told WJRS News that training center will be key for workforce development in the area.
