Russell County Search and Rescue saves dog stuck on bluff over the weekend

Russell County Search and Rescue was able to save a dog stranded on a shelf of a 170-foot bluff over the weekend.

Crews were called out just after 3 a.m. Saturday to the Indian Cave Hill area for the rescue.

Chris Money with Russell County Search and Rescue spoke to WJRS News about Saturday’s operation.

11 members of Russell County Search and Rescue were involved with the operation, and the dog was safely reunited with its owner.
