RCMS Baseball picks up big win at Cumberland County

The Russell County Middle School Baseball team picked up a big win at Cumberland County last night by a score of 14-1.

Luke Walters drove in three runs for the Lakers, Holden Hadley drove in two, and Brody Terry, Talon Huckaby and Keaton Garner each drove in one run.

Hadley got the win on the mound, pitching three innings and giving up just three hits and one run, walking one and striking out 4.

The B team also picked up a victory, winning 8-6.

The middle school Lakers are back in action at Casey County on Thursday.
