Clerk’s office returns over $180K to fiscal court

Russell County Clerk Patti Glover announced at Monday’s Fiscal Court meeting that the county clerk’s office was returning more than $180,000 to the fiscal court from its final fee settlement.

Judge Executive Randy Marcum spoke to WJRS News more about the funds as well as the county getting some reimbursement from purchasing new voting machines and equipment.

The Russell County Fiscal Court meets on the second Monday of each month at 10 a.m.
