Bill that could allow state education funds to go to private or charter schools passes in KY House

A bill that could allow state education funds to go to private or charter schools passed through the Kentucky House of Representatives yesterday.

House Bill 2 would open up the possibility of the state allowing public money to be used for private schools. Keith West has more on House Bill 2 from Frankfort.

If approved by the state senate, the proposal would be placed on the ballot for Kentucky voters in the next general election.
