Bill addressing truancy in schools moving forward

As the Kentucky Legislature moves closer to wrapping up the 2024 session, some bills are still making their way through Frankfort.

House Bill 611 addresses truancy in schools. The bill, if passed, would refer cases of students with 15 or more unexcused absences to the county attorney’s office.
