Local law enforcement officers receive governor’s awards

Two local law enforcement officers received awards from the Governor for helping keep impaired drivers off the roadways.

Russell Springs Police Officer Mason Miniard was one of the recipients of the 2023 Governor’s Award for Impaired Driving Enforcement.

Russell County Sheriff’s Deputy Gerald Gwinn Wooldridge II was also a recipient of the award.

More than 170 law enforcement officers from across the state were recognized for their work in keeping impaired drivers off the roadways.
