Former Judge Exec Gary Robertson appointed to state infrastructure authority

Former Russell County Judge Executive Gary Robertson has been appointed to the Kentucky Public Transportation Infrastructure Authority.

Robertson was appointed to the position by Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear.

He will replace Leslie Combs of Pikeville, who resigned.

Robertson will serve the remainder of the unexpired term which expires in April 2026.

The Authority was established in 2009 by the Kentucky General Assembly to review, approve, and monitor certain significant transportation projects within the commonwealth.
