Three Dead in Family Related Shooting Incidents, Investigation Continues

Three people are confirmed dead following a series of shooting incidents Friday night.   WJRS News has learned the identity of all three victims, although those names are being withheld pending official release from investigating law enforcement.

Reportedly, one shooting  occurred just off Brown Ridge Road in eastern Russell County, near the Pulaski and Russell county line.   Another incident reportedly occurred on Lawless Cemetery Road, located south of Jamestown just off Moore’s Schoolhouse Road.    A fourth person was reportedly transported to an area hospital.

It appears the incidents were connected and all victims were members of the same family.   Kentucky State Police, along with the Russell County Sheriff’s department, is heading the investigation.

Kentucky State Police is expected to release more details, including the names of the threevictims on Saturday.  WJRS News will continue to update this story as more information is released.
