The Russell County High School Bowling teams have competed in three matches this month.
On November 10, the Lakers traveled to take on Taylor County. The Lady Lakers fell 4.5 games to 2.5 games. High ccores for the girls were Karlie Scaggs at 146 & Autumn Huckelby at 141. The Lakers were defeated 7 games to 0. High scores for the boys were Chase White at 183 & James Colmore at 161.
On November 14, the Laker Bowling team hosted the Central Hardin Bruins at Ralphies Fun Center. The Lady Lakers were defeated 4 games to 1. High Scores for the girls were Ashley Cain at 150 & Autumn Huckelby at 127. The Lakers were also defeated 7 games to 0. High scores for the boys were Chase White 137 & Phillip Muthler 116.
Most recently, the Lakers went on the road to Campbellsville to take on the Eagles. Campbellsville does not have a girls team, so Russell County competed as a co-ed squad. The Lakers were defeated 6 games to 1. High scores for the girls were Karlie Scaggs 136 & Ashley Cain 126. High scores for the boys were Benjamin Jagger 158 & Chase White 146.
The bowling teams are off this week but return to action November 30 when they take on Green County at Ralphies Fun Center in Glasgow.
