Two people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at around 3:45 yesterday afternoon.
According to Russell Springs Police, 56-year-old Sarah Kelly of Jamestown was operating a 2011 Ford Escort west on Bernard Ridge when she was struck in the passenger side by a 2012 Chevy Equinox operated by 22-year-old Dawson Wells of Somerset.
Police say Wells was driving on Dowell Road and failed to stop at the stop sign, striking Kelly’s vehicle.
Kelly, along with a 13-year-old passenger in the Wells vehicle, were treated for abdominal pain from the accident, according to Russell Springs Police.
