A Russell Springs man is charged with promoting contraband at the Adair County Regional Jail.
According to the Columbia Police Department, officers were called to the jail Friday morning following a cell search by jail staff.
During the search, they found 25-year-old Donovan Morton to be in possession of narcotics and a makeshift tattoo gun.
Morton remains lodged at the Adair County Regional Jail.
